The regular meeting of the Sherwood Lakes Homeowners Association was conducted on the tenth of August, 2023. The meeting was led by Mr. Brown, with members present of homeowners in attendance.

Upon the call to order, the minutes from the previous meeting were examined and passed with some amendments.

  • Ms. Jones, gave a summarized financial overview outlining the current situation of the homeowner association's funds.
  • Several homeowners raised concerns regarding ongoing developments in the neighborhood, including the proposed playground construction and streetlight regulations.
  • The board addressed the homeowner's queries, providing updates about the plans.

After the dialogue, the meeting was adjourned. The next HOA meeting is scheduled for November, 2023.

Proposed Amendments to Sherwood Lakes Covenants

The Board of Directors is currently examining several proposed amendments to the existing covenants for Sherwood Lakes. These proposed adjustments are designed to improve the standard of life for all residents while tackling current concerns and promoting a thriving community.

  • Amongst the proposed amendments are guidelines related to landscaping, sound restrictions, and vehicle placement.
  • The HOA encourages all residents to peruse the proposed amendments carefully and forward their feedback by September 1st.
  • An open forum will be arranged on August 3rd to examine the proposed amendments in further elaboration.

Additional information regarding the proposed amendments can be accessed on the HOA's digital portal. Residents are strongly encouraged to participate in this important process.

The Sherwood Lakes Community Enhancement Program

Our passionate community members are coming together to make Sherwood Lakes a more beautiful place to live. The Beautification Project aims to improve the visual appeal of our community by adding shrubs, cleaning up public zones, and encouraging a sense of belonging.

We're currently working on various projects, including the restoration of our central park. We invite you to participate in making Sherwood Lakes a truly wonderful place to call home.

HOA Board Election Information - Sherwood Lakes

Greetings residents of Sherwood Lakes! The annual election for the Homeowner’s Association (HOA) board is right around the corner. This year, we encourage all homeowners to take part in shaping the future of our community by casting their vote.

The election will be held on Monday, October 16th, with voting taking place from noon to 8:00 PM at the Sherwood Lakes Community Center.

A list of eligible candidates and their platforms will be made available on the HOA website and distributed via email/sent to residents in a packet by October 1st. For any questions or concerns regarding the election process, please contact the HOA board directly. We look forward to a successful and democratic election!

Neighborhood Watch Program for Sherwood Lakes Residents

Enhance the safety and security of our thriving more info community with a dedicated Neighborhood Watch program. Through collaboratively participating, residents can help deter crime, look out one another's homes, and foster a stronger sense of community. Sessions will be held regularly to discuss.
